The marching orders Jesus left for His church was to make disciples. This was His vision for the growth and health of His church.

The vision of the 2009 DownLine Men’s Summit is to provide a venue that encourages the Body of Christ to more effectively make disciples according to the model and mandate that Jesus Christ has put forth. Ultimately, the ’09 DownLine Summit is an extension of DownLine Ministries (www.downlineministries.com) in its attempt to strengthen the local church and lay leaders in Biblical disciple-making.

The ’09 Men’s Summit will address questions such as, “What is Christian discipleship? What does it look like? What SHOULD it look like? What has happened to it in the church over the last century? How do I do it? Where do I begin? What do I need to know? How do we foster a healthy environment for growing reproducing disciples of Christ in our church?” These questions and many more will be addressed by leading pastors, authors, and ministry leaders who have a passion to see discipleship restored in and through the church.
