Today’s Recommendation:

The Master Plan of Evangelism by Robert Coleman

And he’ll be at the Summit teaching a workshop!  This book is a MUST READ on discipleship.

Billy Graham says, “Few books have had as great an impact on the cause of world evangelization in our generation as Robert Coleman’s The Master Plan of Evangelism.”

If you don’t have your own copy - we’ll have copies to purchase at the conference.  See you there!

Speaker Highlight: Tommy Nelson

We have an incredible line up for this year’s DownLine Summit. Tommy Nelson, pastor of Denton Bible church, author and speaker, has been discipling men for decades now. He has taken his experiences in discipleship and strategically teaches other men what he has learned in the field.

Some of you may have learned that he recently had a heart attack. Through a very God ordained set of circumstances, he came through it and is doing very well! You can read all about it here.

And here is an update that he recorded for his church a couple of weeks ago.

Tommy Nelson Update

We are excited that he is feeling well enough to still make it out to the conference in October!  An incredible man of God - we are excited to hear what he has to say.

Thursday’s Book Recommendation

From now until the conference, check back here for a book recommendation to help you in your pursuit of biblical disciple-making.

Today’s Recommendation:
The Lost Art of Disciple Making by LeRoy Eims

Dr. Robert Coleman, author of the best-selling, The Master Plan of Evangelism (and workshop speaker for this years DownLine Summit!) says:

“This volume is a pleasure to commend. It comes to grips with the real work of discipling people, not in vague institutional programs, but in clear guidelines for personal initiative…Our Lord’s mandate need not be a lost art to those who will take to heart the counsel found in these pages.”

“I am captured by the vision and impact of DownLine. God is using this ministry to equip and inspire churches to make disciples, which is at the heart of God’s mission in the world.”
